Midwinter expands distribution imprint

Midwinter Financial Services has secured former Mariner Financial and Advance Asset Management employees as new state managers as it expands its distribution imprint.

Jason Brown, formally Mariner Financial head of distribution, northern region, will be state manager for Queensland while Tony Skinner, previously of Advance Asset Management, takes the South Australian and Northern Territory areas.

Brown has over 18 years experience in financial services and has also held distribution and marketing roles at AXA Australia.

Skinner, who operates his own financial planning practice, Strategic Wealth Matters, based in Adelaide, has over 23 years experience in financial services.
