GSFM to distribute new global growth fund
Grant Samuel Funds Management (GSFM) has partnered with a Melbourne-based global equities manager, Munro Partners to distribute its Global Growth Fund in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
The Munro Global Growth Fund, which is index unaware, said it would aim for absolute returns through the investment cycle and focus on investments in international listed equities with a long/short strategy .
According to GSFM’s head of distribution, Damien McIntyre, the move would broaden the number of distribution partnerships GSFM had with specialist fund managers to five.
“Munro brings a new capability to the opportunities we bring to investors, through a long/short international equities strategy that already has a strong track record,” he said.
"Munro Partners have made great strides in building their business to date, growing to over $80 million in retail assets management in just 10 months since launch.”
Munro Partners was founded last year by Nick Griffin, chief investment officer, Ronald Calvert, chief executive and Jonathan Spensley as chief operating officer.
