Grahame Evans joins DomaCom
Former Professional Investment Services (PIS) general manager Grahame Evans will join DomaCom as non-executive director.
For the past 25 years he served as group managing director of Centrepoint Wealth responsible for PIS, Associated Advisory Practices and Mentor Wrap. He departed from the role in May last year.
Evans' previous roles include chief executive, investments at Tower Australia and AMP Consulting managing director.
He will join the DomaCom board alongside executive directors Arthur Naoumidis and Ross Laidlaw — effective immediately — to help guide the launch of the platform.
"Grahame Evans' appointment is part of a corporate restructure planned to give DomaCom the highest level of corporate governance ahead of a planned launch in the third quarter of this year," Naoumidis said.
He said the property investment solution for self-managed superannuation funds "necessitates a very high degree of oversight" and that further board appointments are expected in the coming weeks.
