FSC Life Insurance winners announced
The Financial Services Council (FSC) Life Insurance Award winners have been announced, recognising excellence in the $233 billion life insurance industry.
Ashton Jones, head of investments, retirement and new propositions, and Jenny Oliver, general manager of group insurance, at TAL received the individual Awards of Young Achiever and Industry Leader respectively.
Julie-Ann MacCormick, senior manager of rehabilitation services, at CommInsure was a joint receiver of the Industry Leader Award.
AMP Life took out the Innovation in Direct Life Insurance Award for its MyLife product, and the Innovation in Retail Life Insurance Award for its Mental Health Training product.
MLC Life Insurance’s LifeView received the Innovation in Group Life Insurance Award.
FSC chief executive officer, Sally Loane, said following the introduction of the FSC Life Insurance Code of Practice, the life insurance industry has continued to progress a strong consumer reform agenda this year.
“These awards recognise the significant contribution of the talented and dedicated people in the industry who are facing these challenges head on,” said Loane.
