Frontier Advisers has continued its senior recruitment efforts, announcing that Mercer’s Elie Saikaly will join the firm as a principal consultant in June.

In the role, he would work closely with clients to help deliver advice and facilitate collaboration between internal teams and investment committees within the asset consulting firm.

Saikaly would bring over a decade of experience in senior consulting roles at Mercer to the role, where he currently leads the business’ institutional wealth team. Prior to Mercer, he had spent time at Lanteri Partners Wealth Management and UBS.

His focus at Mercer was on consulting superannuation funds, endowments and insurance groups.

Saikaly’s appointment followed two senior consultant hires earlier this year and four associate recruitments in the recent weeks. The firm also recently announced it had secured Andrew Polson as its new chief executive, starting in May.

Frontier director of consulting, Kim Bowater, said that the quality of these hires was a testament to the firm.

“The fact Elie will be joining a number of other experienced practitioners to recently come on board at Frontier, says a lot about the firm. We have been very pleased to add a series of new clients over the last year and have been patient in our recruiting to ensure we can continue to offer the kind of customised service and advice that our clients value and appreciate,” she said.

The appointments bring the total head count at Frontier to sixty, an all-time hire.
