Falzon joins Suncorp board

Former Aviva Funds executive, Sylvia Falzon has been appointed to the board of Suncorp.

The big Queensland-based group confirmed Falzon’s appointment to the Australian Securities Exchange this week noting her background with both Aviva and National Mutual.

It said Falzon currently holds the position of non-executive director for Perpetual Limited, Premier Investments and Regis Healthcare.

Commenting on the appointment, Suncorp chairman, Dr Ziggy Switkowski said Falzon brought a wealth of experience gained from a career spanning 30 years in financial services.
