Drummond returns to Contango



Fund manager, Contango Asset Management has continued its growth strategy with the announcement that former JP Morgan Executive Director of Equity Sales and one of the foudners of Contango, Alastair Drummond, is joining the firm as Senior Investment Manager.
Confirming the appointment today, Contango chief investment officer, George Boubourass said Drummond's appointment was another significant step in Contango's growth program based on expanding the company's investment capabilities.
Drummond had previously worked at Contango for several years up until 2004 as a senior portfolio manager, and also one of the founding partners.
Boubouras said the appointment marked a very welcome homecoming.
"We're thrilled Alastair is coming back to Contango, bringing more than a decade of new experience with him," he said.
