BT appoints new underwriter

BT Financial Group has made changes to its life insurance sector, appointing Richard Zarzeczny as chief underwriter.

Zarzeczny has had senior positions in product, sales and underwriting, with 20 years industry experience.

"I'm passionate about continuous improvement — making the most of opportunities to challenge traditional ideas, while implementing initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and business performance," he said.

He takes former chief underwriter Tracey Crowe's role, who has been promoted to national manager, underwriting, new business and claims.

"I'm excited about leading a team of people who are so passionate about delivering on our promise of top quality service, especially at claim time, when our customers need our help the most," Crowe said.
