BAAM appoints Sydney managing director
Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM), a provider of customised hedge fund solutions, has appointed a new managing director for its Sydney office.
Martin Donnelly joins the company from ING Investment Management, where he was deputy chief executive officer. His new role with Blackstone will see him head business development and client relations in Australia and the Pacific Rim, the Blackstone Group stated.
Blackstone vice chairman and head of BAAM J Tomilson Hill said the group was delighted with Martin’s depth of experience in asset management as investors increasingly looked to customised solutions that offered attractive returns and capital preservation.
