Suncorp-owned Asteron Life has received a global market award for its so-called Wheel of Balance tool.

The company announced this week the tool had won the ‘Best Use of Content Curation' category of the global Content Marketing Institute Awards.

The company described the Wheel of Balance as beings an interactive tool housed on Asteron Life's customer-facing Balance Blog content platform.

It said the tool was an engaging, useful, and fun mechanism that let users undertake a personalised self-assessment of each area of their lives (finance, family and friends, career, health etc.) and, depending on their results, then provided users with valuable content from Asteron Life's health and wellbeing blog platform, Balance, which had a network of experts uniquely tailored to their specific needs.

Suncorp head of brand and marketing, Tammy Hall, said the aim of Wheel of Balance was to reinvigorate engagement with the blog and use its results to inform ongoing content generation.
