Aon Hewitt partners with Lonsec for direct investments


Aon Hewitt has partnered with research and ratings house, Lonsec, to deliver a direct investment option on its Aon Master Trust platform.
The arrangement was confirmed this week by Aon Hewitt principal, Steven Clarke who said the move represented the latest in a series of innovations designed to enhance the client experience.
The company's announcement said the new direct investment platform would deliver:
• fully functional online access
• one-stop shop for ASX200 shares, exchange traded funds and term deposits
• adviser enabled access
• low account, administration and brokerage fees
• complimentary access to latest market research and data
Explaining Lonsec's role in the partnership, Clarke said it utilised Lonsec's direct investment solution with its integrated research and stockbroking solution.
Lonsec spokesman, Nathan MacPhee said the company was proud to have Aon as a foundation direct investment client.
He said Lonsec, in partnership with Recreo Financial, had spent over two years fine tuning the service to ensure that it remained at the forefront of the industry.
