Series to head up AMP Asia Pacific equities
AMP Capital Investors has appointed the former founder of Perennial Investment Partners, Kerry Series, to head up its Asia Pacific Equities team
AMP Capital chief investment officer Mark O’Brien said Series would oversee and manage three AMP Capital equities teams including the capital team that stock selects Australian equities using fundamental research, New Zealand equities and Asian Equities.
He said the appointment reflected AMP Capital’s investment in growth in the Asia Pacific, which had included establishing the company’s regional Singapore office and opening a presence in Beijing and Tokyo.
