The full list of platforms would include the following:
- BT Wrap
- Panorama
- Asgard
- Xplore Wealth
- Hub 24
- Netwealth
- Powerwrap
- Praemium
“The investment objective of the Income Fund is to provide investors with a regular and stable income of five per cent plus p.a. through an investment cycle comprised of dividends, distributions and interest, plus capital growth from a portfolio of global listed infrastructure securities,” RARE’s portfolio manager, Shane Hurst, said.
“There is growing consensus that we are in the late stages of the economic cycle, as increasing market volatility, lower economic growth, and greater uncertainty becomes more pronounced. The Reserve Bank’s recent cuts to official interest rates is evidence of this.”
According to the company, the fund which current holdings included diversified regions and infrastructure sectors with electricity being the largest single sector, saw the performance exceed its performance benchmark, the G7 OECD Inflation Index +5.5 per cent, by 3.4 per cent per annum.
Hurst said that the fund was suited to this environment because the infrastructure companies RARE invests in provide more predictable cash flows, even during periods of market slowdown or recession.
