QIC utilises Eagle solution

QIC Limited has confirmed it has chosen BNY Mellon company, Eagle Investment Systems LLC’s enterprise data management solution, Eagle ACCESS.
QIC selected the solution as part of an operational transformation project to improve the transparency, quality and ownership of its investment data.
An announcement released by Eagle today said QIC had outsourced its data management and performance measurement functions to a global custodian but had sought to supplement the outsourced services and reduce internal IT costs associated with maintaining its own propriety technology infrastructure.
QIC executive director, Mark McDonald said that use of the Eagle solution had improved the integrity of the QIC’s data while instilling more flexibility in its performance reporting function, giving it the ability to support the growth of its alternative assets business.
QIC’s performance function supports all asset classes, including fixed income, equities, global strategies, real estate, private equity, infrastructure investments and derivatives.
