Lazard opens Melbourne office

Lazard Asset Management (LAM) has announced its will expand its sales and distribution operations in Australia by opening an office in Melbourne.
The company also said that Adam Tweedale would join its Melbourne office as distribution manager for the southern region and be responsible for LAM sales and marketing in the region.
Prior to that, Tweedale was a state manager for Copia Investment Partners and a director of distribution at Bennelong Funds Management.
LAM Pacific first launched its operations in Australia in 1994 and currently serves Australian clients with a range of Australian equity, global listed infrastructure, global equity, emerging markets and fixed income strategies.
