Financial services group MLC’s new chief executive officer of distribution, Steve Tucker, has completed a revamp of his distribution team.

Tucker, who replaced Geoff Austin as distribution boss late last year, has appointed a new general manager of sales and two new national sales managers, all from within MLC's sales and distribution arms.

MLC owns two large financial planning networks, MLC Financial Planning/Garvan Financial Planning and Lend Lease Financial Planning. It also sells managed funds and insurance products directly and offers the Flexiplan Master Trust.

As well as the two planning groups, Tucker will also oversee MLC's private client services and product sales divisions.

Matt Lawler is MLC's new general manager of sales, while John Watts and Elyse Sainty are the new national sales managers.
