Prescott expands west
Prescott Securities has expanded into Western Australia, opening an office in Perth.
The move follows the group’s expansion out of its Adelaide base and into New South Wales and Queensland over the past three years.
Prescott chief executive officer David White said the move was part of the company’s growth plan.
“The Perth office has excellent growth prospects on the back of a buoyant local economy and strong back-office and service support from our operations in Adelaide,” he said.
“The Perth office will increase funds under advice to approximately $2.9 billion and will expand the company’s presence to four major centres across Australia.”
White has not ruled out opening offices in other capital cities as part of a national presence.
“We may also establish offices in other capital cities in the near future, depending on our options,” he said.
Prescott, which is part of the WHK Group, now has 39 advisers.
