Parametric grows team

US-based investment house, Parametric has continued to grow its Australian-based team.
The company announced this week it had appointed Whitlam Zhang as a senior analyst with responsibility for setting up and managing day to day relationships with Parametric's Australian clients and underlying external investment managers.
Confirming the appointment, Parametric Australia chief executive, Chris Briant said Zhang would further strengthen the firm's capability in after-tax management.
Briant claimed there was growing interest among Australian super funds and other investors in Parametric's Tax-Managed Centralised Portfolio Management (CPM) benefits and capabilities and this had led to Zhang's appointment.
Parametric Portfolio Associates LLC is a majority-owned subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp.
