NAB Wealth has named the new general manager for its Apogee advice business with Regional Sales Managers for NAB and MLC licensees, Brendan Johnson, moving into the role.

The announcement is the third in as many months for NAB Wealth and follows the appointment of Greg Miller to the role of NAB Wealth executive general manager and Alan Logan to the role of general manager of Godfrey Pembroke. Logan was a former general manager for Apogee from 2004 to 2007.

Johnson will begin the role on 1 July and has been with MC since 2002 having also held the role of National Manager for the MLC Risk Specialist Network.

NAB Wealth General Manager Advice Partnerships Ross Barnwell said Johnson was a "passionate advice advocate" and he was confident that Johnson would lead Apogee to new levels of success.

Johnson said he and his family receive advice from an Apogee planner and he looked forward to assisting the advice businesses in Apogee "increase the reach of quality advice to more people, and being an advocate for professional advice".
