MLC opens online applications to MasterKey
In an effort to speed up the submission process, MLC has introduced online applications for advisers wanting to access MLC’s MasterKey products.
The online functionality is designed to eliminate paperwork, postal delays and client signatures for MLC, while allowing advisers to track the application’s progress through to approval.
MLC Superannuation and Investments general manager Anthony Waldron said the new process would save advisers up to five days on postage time alone.
“Most of the companies that provide online functionality still require the adviser to print, sign and send the application after completing the form online,” he said.
“MLC’s new process eliminates these last three steps — all the adviser has to do is complete the online form and hit the ‘submit’ button.”
The online applications are currently available for MLC MasterKey Super, MLC MasterKey Super Fundamentals, MLC MasterKey Investment Service and MLC MasterKey Investment Service Fundamentals, however, MLC intends to extend this functionality to include its pension and insurance products later in the year.
Traditional methods of submitting applications are still available to advisers.
