Melbourne FASEA exam remote only
Physical locations for the Financial Advisers Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) exam will not be offered for the November exam in Melbourne due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Advisers who had registered for a Melbourne physical location exam had the option to sit the exam online or defer to a later sitting.
The Geelong exam location would continue to be offered to advisers in regional Victoria.
Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), the exam administrator, would contact candidates registered for November Melbourne metropolitan exam sittings to explain their options to sit the exam, which would be held on 5-10 November.
ACER requested candidates ensure their email addresses were up to date in the registration system to facilitate this contact.
FASEA said it continued to monitor the situation and would act upon the advice of the Federal and State Governments.
FASEA had previously taken the same action for the August exam, when Victoria was under Stage 3 restrictions.
