Matrix adds Sydney-based practice
Matrix Planning Solutions has added another practice to its base, with a goal to add a further 10 practices and grow to approximately 120 advisers.
Sydney-based firm EWL & Associates Financial Services (EWL) joined the dealer group last month, bringing the number of practices up to 43 and the number of advisers to approximately 100.
The financial planning arm of EWL is part of a bigger business, which covers financial planning, general insurance and mortgage broking.
Managing director Ed Leuenberger and Darren Frawley are the two principal financial planners in the practice, with a total of eight staff working across the full business.
Leuenberger said he was initially attracted to Matrix due to a values alignment and the service the dealer group could provide.
Matrix said that by keeping numbers to a minimum it could maintain a concentration of resources on a smaller, more focused group that would continue to receive personal, tailored service.
