BBL Funds Management is to become ING Index Funds under a major re-branding over the entire ING Group worldwide.

The renaming of BBL, follows the roll-out of the ING Financial Planning division at Mercantile Mutual and the renaming of the Barings group in the UK to ING.

BBL has been a subsidiary of ING since the Dutch based giant bought ING's global operations in 1997.

BBL is best known in Australia as one of the pioneers of index funds in the funds management market with its Director range of funds.
