ING adds protected growth funds to platform

ING Australia has added two new protected growth funds to its OneAnswer platform for investors, the ING Protected Growth Fund and ING Protected AUS50 Fund.

ING head of retail platforms Mark Pankhurst said in the last 12 months there had been extreme volatility in the markets and investors needed funds that provided growth and capital protection during market downturns.

The two funds provide daily liquidity and do not have any lock-in restrictions.
