IFM Investors recruits business development director
Former Morgan Stanley staffer Dan Vanden Boom has moved shop to IFM Investors to become director, business development, Australia.
Vanden Boom will report to the executive director of business development at IFM Investors, Eddy Schipper, who moved to Japan at the start of this year to build IFM Investors’ Asia offering to clients.
Commenting on the appointment, Schipper said Vanden Boom would make a great contribution.
“Dan adds significantly to our resources and expertise in the business development team. His strong track record throughout his career will serve him well in engaging with our client base and assisting with building the business.
“Tellingly, Dan chose to work with us because he was attracted to our unique ownership structure and focus on long-term outcomes for clients, as well as the demonstrable strength of our investment teams and client base.”
Vanden Boom will commence work with IFM Investors in May and will be based in the firm’s Melbourne office.
