Deutsch returns to Macquarie fold
Macquarie Funds Group has moved to beef up its retail structured products division by luring back a former staffer, Irene Deutsch, as Australian head of retail distribution.
Deutsch, who spent 12 years with Macquarie from 1993, was most recently chief operating officer at Goldman Sachs J.B. Were’s Securities Division.
Commenting on the appointment, Macquarie’s head of structured and specialist investments, Peter Lucas, said Deutsche would be responsible for the distribution of structured and specialised investments in the retail market within Australia.
