County sale near completion
The sale of County Investment Management should be completed by the end of this month, according to chief executive Nick Birrell.
The group, who were put up for sale by NAB in August this year has drawn up a short list of potential buyers and is looking to conclude the process in the next few weeks.
Birrell is tight-lipped on the names and numbers on the short list, however he says: "management at County are very pleased with the short list".
Birrell says County is unlikely to change with its new owners.
"Basically we'll fit into the ultimate buyers strategy. As for changes I doubt the core of the business will change," he says.
