Colonial First State Group is dropping its Avanteos Investments brand after six years, renaming it Colonial First State Custom Solutions. Colonial took over Avanteos in March 2003.

As part of the rebrand it has changed the name of its Avanteos platform to FirstWrap platform. The platform will continue to be operated by Avanteos. It will be available from June 8.

The FirstWrap platform has access to over 250 managed funds and Australian Securities Exchange listed securities, fixed interest and other unlisted investments, and provides web-based portfolio management tools for advisers.
