Centric adopts PlanTech
Centric Wealth, the recently formed amalgamation of Berkley Group and Centrestone Wealth Advisers, has signed up to use software provider PlanTech Consulting Group for its risk and practice management capabilities.
Centric Wealth’s Roy Agranat said the software would be used by the boutique advice firm’s risk division to streamline its administrative processes and assist advisers in addressing compliance, workflow and reporting.
“PlanTech’s advice suite will support and enhance our risk advisers’ activities and facilitate the expert service and advice they provide to clients,” he said.
Centric Wealth business systems and technology manager Kevin Kendall said a significant factor in the company’s decision to select PlanTech was the software’s .NET based solution.
PlanTech managing director Tony Smith said the firm was committed to an ongoing and rigorous program of developing and refining the software.
He said the company was also on track to release version 2.0 of its 4Cast Planning software.
Smith said the new version would be “substantially increasing the modelling capabilities of the solution”. Previously, he revealed the update would contain significant enhancements to investment planning, which would “move it toward the capabilities of an Xplan or VisiPlan”.
Earlier this month, Financial Services Partners (FSP) announced it had also struck a deal with PlanTech, making the software available to more than 170 planners for customer relationship management, risk advising and simple accumulation business tasks.
FPS advisers continue to use Coin Software in their businesses in addition to the PlanTech software.
