Black River AM builds out team



US-based global alternative asset management firm, Black River Asset Management has appointed Charles Robinson in a newly created London-based role of Managing Director, Strategic Client Management.
Robinson will report regionally to Black River AM UK Ltd chief executive, Jeremy Llewelyn but will functionally report to the company’s global head of Investor Relations, James Gruver.
The announcement said Robinson would be responsible for deepening investor relationships in Europe, the Middle East and Asia
Commenting on the appointment, Gruver said Robinson brought a broad perspective of the alternative investment industry coupled with a local appreciation of Black River investors’ unique needs.
