Aus Unity gets thumbs up from advisers
Almost two-thirds of Australian Unity Personal Financial Services advisers said they are ‘highly satisfied' with its service, according to a survey.
The survey of their practice principals found the mutual organisation had an attractive model for advisers, its chief executive, Steve Davis, said.
"In terms of how happy the practice principals are with our overall service to them, 63 per cent of advisers said ‘highly satisfied', and 35 per cent said ‘satisfied'," Davis said.
"To the question of whether our advisers would recommend another adviser to join us, 68 per cent said ‘highly likely', and 17 per cent said ‘likely', with 15 per cent saying ‘possibly'."
He added that a large number of Australian Unity's specific services and cultural imperatives were given approval ratings of over 90 per cent.
"Our relationship with our advisers is based primarily on a full service offering, with a broad open-architectured APL [approved product list] for wrap accounts, direct and managed investments, and risk insurance," Davis said.
