Asteron launches education offering

Asteron Life has launched an educational television offering which it says is intended to get advisers "market savvy".
Announcing the launch of the product this week, the company said it was giving more than 10,000 financial advisers the ability to boost their marketing skills, at the same time as earning up to six CPD points.
The offer entails a six-part reality TV series called 'Boost', via which Asteron Life provides advisers what it describes as "smart marketing strategies from small business marketing guru Tim Reid.
It said the offering could be viewed on the Boost website and entailed six episodes demonstrating practical DIY tools on topics such as how to build a brand, improve a web site, connect with clients through content marketing and develop cost-effective video marketing.
Commenting on the offer, Asteron Life executive manager, Mark Vilo said it filled a niche in the advice market and helped advisrs build and grow a prosperous business.
"We developed Boost in the entrepreneurial spirit of our 'Better Business' coaching seminars, which we run for our top advisers who are serious about growing their business," he said.
