ARISA chief resigns
Australian Retirement Income Stream Association (ARISA) chief executive officer Kieren Dell has resigned from his post after 12 months in the top job.
Dell will remain in the role until early April, and will then focus on his consulting business which he has operated since October last year.
Prior to becoming the head of ARISA, Dell was chairman of the association in 1999.
Commenting on the resignation, ARISA chair Sue Merriman said the board was disappointed to lose Dell and his experience of the industry and the association.
"Kieren has been heavily involved in ARISA since its earliest days nine years ago, [and] ARISA's recent successes are in many ways attributable to the leadership that he has provided the organisaton," she says.
The ARISA board has already started the process of looking for a new CEO, and expect to have a replacement in the near future.
