Pathway Licensee Services has added two business development managers (BDMs) to support continued growth following its acquisition by platform provider netwealth.

Joanne Russell joins as BDM for NSW, Queensland and the ACT, effective immediately. She has a strong background in financial services, credit and property, and was most recently at Accrutus Capital Management, Pathway stated.

Durand Oliver starts on 22 October and will be BDM for Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. He worked most recently as a BDM for netwealth in Western Australia and prior to that was an account manager at Xplan.

Pathway general manager Kate Humphries attributed the growth partly to advisers needing help navigating through Future of Financial Advice changes.

"Advisers really want to focus on what they do best, which is building relationships with both existing and new clients, while outsourcing complex compliance matters and time-consuming FOFA issues to experts - and that's where we are ideally positioned to help them," she said.
