RSM Bird Cameron expands Qld presence

Accounting group, RSM Bird Cameron has further extended its geographic footprint.
The company announced this week that it had expanded its Queensland presence with the opening office in the regional south-east Queensland city of Toowoomba.
The announcement said the expansion represented the consolidation of a two-year association with Toowoomba accounting firm, Laird Advisory by merging it into the broader RSM Bird Cameron brand.
Commenting on the move, RSM Bird Cameron national chairman, Kim Hutchinson described Toowoomba as a key regional market which would form the basis for launching a broader Queensland regional offering.
He said the Toowoomba office would be headed up by William Laird who was a leading commercial and tax advisor to privately-owned businesses throughout South East Queensland.
Hutchison said RSM Bird Cameron was looking at future expansion in key regional centres in the south and west of Queensland.
