NAB’s Stewart appointed to Telstra board

The chief executive of the National Australia Bank, John Stewart, has been appointed to the board of Telstra.

The telecommunications group announced today that Stewart was one of two new directors being appointed to the board, with the second appointee being the chief executive of transport and logistics firm DHL Express, John Mullen.

Stewart’s appointment to the Telstra board will be effective from April 28.
