Jodie Blackledge joins Fitzpatricks Group
Former chief financial officer (CFO) of Trust Group, Jodie Blackledge, has joined the Fitzpatricks Group as new CFO and chief operating officer (COO), with a focus on expanding the business through acquisitions.
Blackledge held prior roles at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup, and is also a chartered accountant.
Managing director at Fitzpatricks, John McMurdo, said Blackledge’s significant experience in mergers and acquisitions would be of great benefit to the group, given its execution of a range of acquisitions and growth opportunities.
“The input of private capital has provided major funding for the group and we continue to be approached by a number of like-minded and high-calibre firms to partner with us,” he said.
Blackledge said she was keen to join the business given its focus on client-led outcomes and would enjoy the opportunities in the financial services industry that had been brought about by a fast-changing landscape.
