Genesys Wealth Advisers has given two of its advisers a voice on its investment committee that oversees the management and implementation process for the Genesys investment approved list.

It is the first time advisers have had a place on the committee, according to Genesys.

Zest Wealth Advisers managing director Todd Clifford and Farrow Hughes Mulcahy principal Michael Farrow have been appointed to the positions.

“Todd and Michael will play an integral role in our committee as they strongly represent the interests of our advisers,” Genesys Group chief operating officer Andrew Alcock said.

Alcock believes that appointing adviser representatives to the committee provides choice for advisers while enlisting the skills of advisers will ensure the product approval process is transparent for all stakeholders.
