Deloitte recruits former Suncorp GM

Deloitte has moved to further boost its Brisbane presence by appointing former Suncorp executive general manager and former ANZ state manager, John Debenham, as leader of its financial services practice in Queensland.

The company announced Debenham's appointment today at the same time as re-emphasising the level of investment Deloitte had made in its Queensland operations via other appointments in recent years.

The company said Deloitte regarded business opportunities in Queensland as remaining very strong and that it would continue to invest in its Brisbane office.
