Clearview Wealth has appointed Tony Smith state manager of Queensland and Tony Schiavello state manager of Victoria and Tasmania. The pair will promote ClearView's life advice and wealth product suites launched in December 2011 to independent financial advisers in their respective states.

Smith and Schiavello have both worked for one of Australia's largest life insurers, helping to grow financial adviser businesses and market share as well as offering value to IFA practices.

Smith has been in the life insurance and wealth management industry for almost 20 years, while Schiavello has worked in the superannuation, investment and life insurance industry for more than 25 years.

"We are very excited to welcome high calibre business development managers such as Tony Smith and Tony Schiavello to our distribution team," said ClearView managing director Simon Swanson.

"Both Tonys will play a key part to our expansion into the life advice and the high net worth wealth management markets.

"They will focus on marketing our leading product suites - LifeSolutions and WealthSolutions - to financial advisers who are not part of the ClearView dealer group."
