Wealth accounting and self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) administration software provider, Class, has appointed Glenn Poynton as strategic alliances director in a bid to enhance partner strategies.

Poynton would be responsible for the development of strategic partner relationships as Class has aimed to drive increased partner revenue from across the wealth accounting value chain.

Poynton has had over 15 years’ experience with Macquarie Group where he held roles as division director, wealth product strategy for Macquarie Wealth Product and Platforms.

Class chief executive officer, Kevin Bungard, said Poynton would play a pivotal role in building out their partner ecosystem, improving API capabilities, boosting partner revenues and delivering enhanced benefits to customers.
