Just over a fortnight after Federal Treasurer, Joe Hockey, brings down his second Budget and as a curtain-raiser to its Fund Manager of the year awards, Money Management will be hosting an event aimed at traversing the key asset allocation issues confronting planners as they move up to the end of the financial year.

The FutureWealth event which will boast keynote speakers such as highly respected researcher, Stephen van Eyk, has been specifically tailored to assist those responsible for developing approved product lists understand the implications on Government policy changes on broader investment decisions.

Set down for 21 May, the event will act as a curtain-raiser for Money Management's traditional Fund Manager of the Year Awards and the presentation of the Financial Planner of the Year, Paraplanner of the Year, BDM of the Year and Rising Star.

Money Management and its research partner, Lonsec, late last month announced the finalists of its Fund Manager of the Year awards.
