Financial Planning Services Australia (FPSA), part of the netwealth Advice group, has appointed Peter Boston as national advice manager, the final addition to its new executive team structure.

For the past three years, Boston has lead AMP Financial Services' Jigsaw Support Services business and will commence his new role on 23 September.

Simon Micallef , head of netwealth Advice Group and general manager of FPSA, said Boston's appointment would ensure an increased focus on recruitment of new businesses, business development and key relationship management with principles and advisers.

"Peter's experience will be a welcome addition to the group, having previously worked in various institutions within advice distribution, advice support services, adviser development and sales and marketing," he said.

Since launching its national advice group in March this year, has made a number of key executive appointments including former Count Financial training manager Lisa Faferko as FPSA head of licensee operations.
