AMP Capital has appointed John Moorhead as its new chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
He replaces Margaret Payn who is returning to the UK for family reasons after five years.
Moorhead, who will be based in Sydney, was most recently the London-based COO of Eight Roads, an investment arm of Fidelity International.
He also worked for 11 years at Virgin Group in Sydney, London and Geneva where he held a number of senior roles.
The company said Moorhead had extensive investment banking experience in both London and Sydney.
