AMP confirmed this morning that Stan Wallis will be the permanent chairman of AMP after be-ing in a caretaker role at the financial services giant for the past four months.
AMP confirmed this morning that Stan Wallis will be the permanent chairman of AMP after be-ing in a caretaker role at the financial services giant for the past four months.
Wallis has been acting chairman of AMP since April 3, when he stepped in to fill the vacancy left by Ian Burgess' sudden exit. The appointment of Wallis follows the announcement he will relinquish his post as chairman of Amcor.
He has been on the AMP board for 10 years and is chairman of Coles Myer and Pineapplehead. He also headed up the widest ranging and most influential review of the financial; services in-dustry which formed the base of the CLERP Reforms.
