Van Eyk to support Genesys investment research team

Genesys Wealth Advisers has moved quickly to fill the void left by the departure of four members of its investment research team, making two key appointments backed by research house van Eyk.
Genesys has appointed Helen Richardson and Jerome Bodisco to the key investment research roles, and they will work in conjunction with van Eyk.
“We … think this is the perfect time to reconsider how the whole research process works today and how we might enhance it for the future benefit of Genesys and our clients,” Genesys Group chief executive Greg Kirk said.
With the additional support of van Eyk, the new capability is staffed by industry experts Richardson and Bodisco, who co-ordinated a handover of the research function with the outgoing team, Kirk said.
Richardson and Bodisco currently provide day-to-day research support and consulting services while also maintaining the Genesys investment approved list and model portfolios, he said.
Richardson was previously at BT, where she played a key role in the running of BT wrap advantage. Prior to this she was head of research at MFS Group, where she was responsible for research activity across the group. Bodisco most recently managed the product research team at AMP Financial Planning.
Meanwhile, Genesys is still on the hunt for someone to lead the new research function, Kirk said.
