Sustainable strategy continues expansion
Al Gore’s sustainability fund, the Generation Wholesale Global Sustainability Fund, has been added to the Avanteos platform through an exclusive deal with ColonialFirstState, which launched the fund last year.
The fund’s manager, Generation Investment Management, uses sustainability research in its selection process for buying high quality companies for the purpose of long-term investing and was co-founded by the former US vice-president and former Goldman Sachs Asset Management chief executive David Blood.
The fund is currently only available on the Colonial FirstChoice and Avanteos platforms, which are both members of the Commonwealth Bank group.
Avanteos has also been upgraded with several new features, including further investor rebates, a BPAY® facility for investor contributions and enhanced performance reporting, providing users with reporting and output options across portfolios as well as for individual underlying investments.
