Suncorp restructures executive team
Big Queensland-based insurer Suncorp has announced key senior executive changes within its commercial and personal insurance businesses.
The company has announced that the current group executive, commercial insurance, Mark Milliner, will assume leadership of the personal insurance business, while former Zurich executive and current executive general manager, intermediated distribution, Anthony Day, will replace Milliner in the commercial insurance role.
At the same time, the company announced the departure of Bernadette Inglis as head of personal insurance and the group executive for strategy, people and corporate services, Stuart McDonald.
The company confirmed group executives David Foster, Geoff Summerhayes, Jeff Smith and Roger Bell in their roles, but said internal and external searches would begin for the human resources role.
It said that searches to fill the company’s chief financial officer and chief risk officer roles were already well advanced.
