Suncorp offers online share trading to investors
Suncorp Bank is offering online share trading to investors through online broker CMC Markets.
General manager, customer development, Tim Buckett said Suncorp wanted to make investing in shares as easy as possible by providing the best tools and education.
The bank has been able to lower its online trading costs for new and existing customers, he added.
“Cost effectiveness was also a consideration and this platform enables us to offer customers access to comprehensive investment research to support their investment decisions at no extra cost,” he said.
Many of their customers were looking to leverage off their mortgages and diversify out of cash and property, he said.
The trading platform integrates easily with existing systems.
