S&P assigns five stars to Zurich Investments Global Thematic Share Fund

The Zurich Investments Global Thematic Share Fund has been assigned a five-star rating from Standard & Poor’s (S&P).
It is the only five-star rating assigned in S&P’s thematic peer group.
Four other funds have received four stars, including the DWS Global Equity Agribusiness Fund, DWS Global Equity Thematic Fund (hedged), DWS Global Equity Thematic Fund (unhedged) and the Platinum Unhedged Fund.
According to S&P the Zurich fund is managed by the global thematic team at Lazard Asset Management.
S&P fund services analyst James Gunn said: “While thematic investing offers considerable scope for alpha generation, it also requires a unique skill set. This includes an ability to identify how a changing environment is likely to affect existing investment themes, as well as the ability to pinpoint new trends as existing themes become well-recognised or interrelated”.
